Bird flu has killed at least 91people since 2003, and almost all cases have been linked to infected poultry. The following reports are noted:
135 swans died of bird flu in Iran near the Caspian Sea
Two birds were found dead in Austria that appear to have died from Avian Flu
German officials said the virus has reached there as well
Nigerian officials stated that the bird flu was
spreading rapidly in their country and northward in Africa as well.
